- December 2008: Our paper on Energy Optimization in Mobile TV Broadcast Networks wins the "Best Paper Award" in the IEEE Innovations 2008 Conference.

- September 2008: Cong Ly, Hasti Seifi, Yuanbin Shen, and Shabnam Mirshokraie join NSL as MSc students. Welcome aboard.
